REMINDER: Option to update your annual subscription invoice address via epi self-service
Dear epi members,
As we are approaching the end of the year, we are starting to prepare for the annual subscription invoices for 2025. Please ensure that your epi annual subscription invoice will show the correct address and is sent to the proper e-mail address.
Therefore, you should act NOW, but at the latest by the end of 2024, if your annual subscription invoice should reflect a postal or e-mail address that is different from the data registered in the list of professional representatives pursuant to Art. 134 EPC
In the epi self-service in “My Personal Data”, you may update the address to be shown on your annual subscription invoice for 2025 and beyond as well as the specific email-address to which we will send your invoice in early January by yourself. You might need to authorize first (https://patentepi.org/en/login).
You may also use this function if you would like to have issued a corrected invoice with other address details following receipt of your annual subscription invoice, e.g. in February.
Please be advised, that you always need to send an additional request for a corrected invoice to accounting@patentepi.org after the update of your deviating address data in the epi self-service has been completed by you.
No action is required if the address and e-mail for your annual subscription invoice is correct.
In case you have provided us in the past with an address or specific e-mail that differs from the data registered in the List of Professional Representatives pursuant to Art. 134 EPC, we will continue to use this address.
Please note that any final reminder for your epi annual subscription, if necessary, will still be sent to the postal address that you have provided to the EPO for the List of Professional Representatives.

Logon to the epi website https://patentepi.org/en/login

Select “My Personal Data” from the menu on the left

Here you can find your data as on the List of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office. This data can only be updated by contacting the Legal Division of the EPO.

Further down, you will see “Different invoice address for epi annual subscription”

Click the box next to “If you wish to have the invoice issued…” and an additional section will open.

The site will expand, then enter your data and press submit at the bottom.
